Bahrain sent athletes to compete in running and throwing events at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. They ran in races like the 100 metres, 5000 metres, and 10,000 metres, and also joined the marathon, hurdles, javelin throw, and hammer throw. Most of the athletes did not move past the first round, but Ali Saad Mubarak finished 79th in the marathon.
