A buzzard is the common name used for several types of birds that belong to a special group called birds of prey. These birds are good at flying and have sharp eyesight, which helps them see food from high up in the sky. Many people know buzzards by their large size and brown feathers, especially when they fly looking for food.
Birds of prey, including buzzards, are important for nature. They help keep nature balanced by eating small animals that might grow too many. This helps forests, fields, and other places stay healthy.
Buzzards live in many parts of the world, and each type has its own special traits and habits. Some like open lands, while others live in hilly or mountainous areas. No matter where they live, these birds are fun to watch as they glide through the air.
