Ceraurinella
Adapted from Wikipedia ยท Adventurer experience
Ceraurinella is an ancient group of small sea creatures called trilobites. These tiny animals lived millions of years ago and had hard shells to protect themselves. They belonged to a family known as Cheiruridae, which includes many similar trilobites.
Scientists have found and described many types, or species, of Ceraurinella. Studying these fossils helps us learn about the oceans and life from long ago. Even though they are no longer alive today, trilobites like Ceraurinella give us clues about how life on Earth has changed over time.
Species
There are 19 known species in the genus Ceraurinella. These include Ceraurinella arctica, Ceraurinella brevispina, Ceraurinella buttsi, and others. Scientists identified each species over many years.
