History and profile

Founded in 1955, Hawaii Business is one of the oldest business magazines in America. Each year, it has special issues. In April, it talks about the Best Places to Work. In August, it lists Hawaii’s largest companies. In December, it profiles top business leaders. Other issues highlight rising stars in March and top real estate agents in June.

The magazine discusses important topics that affect major industries in Hawaii. These include tourism, construction, agriculture, and real estate. It also has a monthly section called SmallBiz about Hawaii's small businesses. Hawaii Business holds business events and seminars each year. These include awards and educational forums. In 2013, Bobby Senaha became the publisher of Hawaii Business.
