Lordshillia is an extinct group of small sea creatures called trilobites. It belongs to a family known as Trinucleidae. These ancient animals lived during the early part of a time called the Arenig stage, which was part of the Ordovician Period. The Arenig stage lasted from about 478 to 471 million years ago. Studying fossils like Lordshillia helps scientists learn how life on Earth has changed over many years.
