Madagascar took part in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. The country was represented by the Malagasy Olympic Committee.

Two athletes from Madagascar took part in the athletics events at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Nirinaharifidy Ramilijaona ran in the women's 100 m, and Joseph-Berlioz Randriamihaja competed in the men's 110 m hurdles.

Ramilijaona ran the women's 100 m on August 16, 2008, and finished fifth in her heat. She did not go to the next round. Randriamihaja ran the men's 110 m hurdles on August 18, 2008, and also finished fifth in his heat. He did not move on to the next round.

One athlete from Madagascar joined the judo events at the 2008 Summer Olympics. His name was Elie Norbert. He competed in the men's โˆ’60 kg group on August 9, 2008. In the first round, Norbert fought an athlete from North Korea but lost the match.

Two athletes from Madagascar competed in swimming at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Tojohanitra Andriamanjatoarimanana swam in the women's 50 m freestyle, and Erik Rajohnson swam in the men's 100 m breaststroke.

Rajohnson swam his race on August 9, 2008, and finished first in his heat but did not go on to the next round. Andriamanjatoarimanana swam on August 15, 2008, and finished sixth in her heat but also did not move on to the next round.
