Mouila

Mouila is the capital of Ngounié Province in Gabon. It is located on the Ngounié River and along the N1 road. About 20,000 people live there.
One of the most interesting sights in Mouila is Lac Bleu, a beautiful lake known for its bright blue water. The city is spread out and has many markets and places for trade. Mouila is an important center for business and travel, bringing together people from many different ethnic groups. The city can be reached by air through Mouila Airport.

Mouila has a tropical savanna climate. This type of climate is also known by the Köppen classification code Aw.
Notable people
Mouila is home to several important people. François Bozizé was a former president of the Central African Republic. Joseph Owondault Berre was the vice president of Gabon. Pierre Mamboundou was a politician. André Raponda Walker was an anthropologist and priest who worked near Mouila.
