Mount Bintumani

Mount Bintumani, also called Loma Mansa, is the tallest mountain in Sierra Leone and the Loma Mountains. It is 1,945 metres (6,381 feet) tall. The lower parts of the mountain have rainforests. These forests are home to many interesting animals. You can find pygmy hippopotamuses, dwarf crocodiles, rufous fishing-owls, and many different kinds of primates living there. The mountain and the areas around it help protect these special animals and their homes.
