Namibia at the 2008 Summer Olympics

Namibia took part in the 2008 Summer Olympics, which were held in Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China. Many athletes from Namibia traveled to Beijing to compete in different sports. The Olympics is a special event where people from all over the world come together to play games and show their skills. For Namibia, this was a chance to see how their athletes would do against others from many countries.
Athletics

Four athletes from Namibia competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. Beata Naigambo and Hilaria Johannes earned their spots by doing well in races. Agnes Samaria and Stephan Louw were also working to earn their spots.

Boxing

Jafet Uutoni won a gold medal in a competition for African countries in Algiers, Algeria. Later, Mujandjae Kasuto and Julius Indongo also won medals and earned their places at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
