Osterseen is a lovely group of lakes in Bavaria, Germany, not far from Munich. The lakes sit 588 meters above sea level and cover an area of 223.55 hectares, or about 552 acres. Many people visit the Osterseen to enjoy quiet water activities and explore the beautiful landscapes around them. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy nature.

Islands

The Osterseen lakes have several small islands. In Großer Ostersee, there are islands like Holzau, Marieninsel, Steigerinsel, Roseninsel, and Schwaigerinsel.

Frechensee has two unnamed islands close to its shores.
