Évora District

The Évora District is in the Alentejo region of southern Portugal. Its main city and capital is Évora, a place full of history and culture. This district is known for its lovely landscapes and important historical sites. It shares a border with Spain, so it is close to another country. People living there enjoy a mix of rural life and access to historic monuments and nature.

The Évora District in Portugal has 14 municipalities. Some of these places are Alandroal, Arraiolos, Borba, Estremoz, and the capital city Évora. Others include Montemor-o-Novo, Mora, Mourão, Portel, Redondo, Reguengos de Monsaraz, Vendas Novas, Viana do Alentejo, and Vila Viçosa.
These 14 municipalities are divided into 69 smaller areas called parishes.
