Andoany, also known as Hell-Ville, is a city in the Diana Region of Madagascar. It is located on the beautiful island of Nosy Be and serves as the capital of the island. In 2013, the city had an estimated population of 39,500 people. The city was named Hell-Ville after Anne Chrétien Louis de Hell, an important figure in its history. Today, Andoany is a notable place to visit in the region of Madagascar.
