They took part in races such as the 100 metres, 5000 metres, and 10,000 metres, as well as the marathon, hurdles, javelin throw, and hammer throw. None of the Bahraini athletes moved past the first round in their events, except for Ali Saad Mubarak who finished in 79th place in the marathon.
