Bramois is a small village found in Switzerland, in the beautiful area called the canton of Valais. It is located about 4 kilometers southeast of the city center of Sion.
In 1968, the village of Bramois joined together with the nearby commune of Sion, becoming part of the larger city. This merger helped bring the two places closer and share resources for the benefit of everyone living there.
Though it is now part of Sion, Bramois still holds its own special place in the history and landscape of the Valais region.
