Cardinal Malula University (French: Université Cardinal Malula) is a public university located in Kinshasa, the capital city of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The university was named in honor of Joseph-Albert Malula, an important religious leader. It is one of the main universities in the country, offering many different subjects for students to study. Most of the teaching at the university is done in French, which is the official language used there. This university helps educate many young people and plays an important role in the life of the city and the country.

History

Cardinal Malula University began on October 1, 2001, as part of important changes to higher education in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It gained its independence through a government order dated September 27, 2010. This change was made to help make schools more efficient and better organized.
