The Clear Fork Group is a special collection of rocks found in the Texas Red Beds. These rocks are very old and have preserved many fossils from a long time ago. The fossils come from the Permian period, which was millions of years before the dinosaurs lived. Studying these rocks and fossils helps scientists learn about life and Earth from that ancient time.
