Another exciting event is Atlanta Streets Alive. This idea comes from Bogotá, Colombia, where they have a special event called ciclovía. During Atlanta Streets Alive, some city streets are closed to cars. This gives people a safe space to enjoy many fun activities together, like bicycling, strolling, skating, watching others, tango, yoga, hula hooping, and even break dancing. These festivals help bring the community together and let everyone enjoy the outdoors in a lively way.

Atlanta has many fun festivals in different neighborhoods. The Inman Park Festival happens in spring in one of the city's oldest neighborhoods. It has an artist market, live entertainment, and many food vendors.

The Kirkwood Spring Fling is held in the Kirkwood neighborhood each May. It starts with a 5K run, followed by an artist market, live music, home tours, and local food trucks. The Little Five Points Halloween Festival happens the weekend before Halloween and includes a parade and costume contest. The Virginia Highland neighborhood hosts a summer festival with art and music, plus home tours in December and a fun run around Easter.
