Jubatus is an open-source framework designed for online machine learning and distributed computing. It was developed by teams at Nippon Telegraph and Telephone and Preferred Infrastructure to help computers learn and work together on big tasks.
The framework can do many useful things, such as classification, making recommendations, solving math problems called regression, finding unusual patterns known as anomaly detection, and exploring connections in data through graph mining.
Jubatus works with many different programming languages, including C++, Java, Ruby, and Python, making it easy for developers to use. It uses a special method called Iterative Parameter Mixture to help computers learn from data in a distributed way, which means it can handle very large amounts of information by spreading the work across many machines.
Notable Features
Jubatus helps computers learn and make smart guesses. It can sort things into groups, suggest items like a friend might recommend, and predict numbers based on data.
It uses special tools to understand words and text, making it easier for computers to read and talk about everyday topics.
