Korean Language Ability Test

Adapted from Wikipedia ยท Discoverer experience

The Korean Language Ability Test, often called KLAT, is a test for people who are learning to speak the Korean language. It helps show how well someone can use Korean in everyday life, work, school, and other important situations. This test is offered by the Korean Language Society and is different from another test called the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK), which is given by a different group.

There is also a simpler version of the test called Basic-KLAT or B-KLAT. This version checks if a person can have basic conversations in Korean.

As of February 2021, people can take the KLAT in 36 places across 11 countries. Most of these places are in South Korea, China, Southeast Asia, and Central Asia.
