Lia-Ntomba language

Ntomba and Lia are two closely related languages spoken in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. They belong to a group of languages called Bantu languages and are so similar that many people consider them to be different versions, or dialects, of one language called Lia-Ntomba.

These languages are part of a larger family of languages spoken across many parts of Africa. Another language nearby, called the Mongo language, also has versions that are named Ntomba or Ntumba, showing how closely these languages are connected.
