The MLS Cup 2015 was the 20th edition of the MLS Cup, the championship game of Major League Soccer. This important soccer match decided the champion of the league's 2015 season. It took place on December 6, 2015, in Columbus, Ohio, at MAPFRE Stadium.

Two teams played for the title: the Columbus Crew SC and the Portland Timbers. The Portland Timbers won the game 2–1, marking their first ever MLS Cup championship. This victory also earned them a place in the 2016–17 CONCACAF Champions League.

One exciting moment happened right at the start of the game. A player named Diego Valeri from the Timbers scored just 27 seconds in—the fastest goal ever in an MLS Cup game. The Timbers scored again a few minutes later, and even though the Columbus Crew replied with a goal, Portland kept their lead until the end. This win was a big moment for the city of Portland, Oregon, as it was their first men's professional sports championship since the Portland Trail Blazers won the 1977 NBA championship.
