Mets is a neighborhood in Athens, Greece. It is found between Ardettos Hill, the First Cemetery of Athens and the Temple of Olympian Zeus.

The area got its name from a beer brewery. A Bavarian brewer named Karl Fuchs opened the brewery. He was also the person who started the Greek beer company Fix. Back then, beer was a very new drink in Greece. It came to the country because of the influence of the Bavarian king Otto of Greece.
