Mouila is the capital of Ngounié Province in Gabon. It is located on the Ngounié River and along the N1 road. The city has around 20,000 people living there.

One of the most interesting sights in Mouila is Lac Bleu, a beautiful lake famous for its bright blue water. The city is quite spread out and has many markets and places for trade. Mouila is an important center for business and travel, bringing together people from many different ethnic groups. The city can be reached by air through Mouila Airport.

Mouila has a tropical savanna climate. This type of climate is also known by the Köppen classification code Aw.

Notable people

Mouila is the home of several important people. François Bozizé was a former president of the Central African Republic. Joseph Owondault Berre served as the vice president of Gabon. Pierre Mamboundou was a politician, and André Raponda Walker was an anthropologist and priest who worked near Mouila at a place called Sainte-Martin.
