For three years, the newspaper provided updates about what was happening in the city and beyond. Many people could pick up a copy for free to read the latest stories.

Unfortunately, the newspaper stopped publishing in 2009. Even though it was around for only a short time, it helped many people stay informed about important events.

History

The Baltimore Examiner was a free daily newspaper that started in Baltimore, Maryland in 2006. It was created by the Philip Anschutz-owned Clarity Media Group as part of a group of newspapers called "Examiner". These newspapers were in several cities, including San Francisco and Washington, D.C., and they were all free, relying only on ads for money.

Unfortunately, the newspaper stopped publishing after three years because it couldn’t find a buyer. Later, in 2012, some of the people who worked for The Baltimore Examiner started a new newspaper called The Baltimore Post-Examiner.

Conservative tone

The Baltimore Examiner was seen as having a more conservative viewpoint compared to another newspaper called The Baltimore Sun. This means it often presented news and opinions that leaned toward more traditional or cautious ideas.
