Borneo

Borneo is a big island in Asia. It is the third-largest island in the world! Borneo is split among three countries: Brunei, Indonesia, and Malaysia. In Indonesia, the part of Borneo is called Kalimantan.

Nature and Wildlife

Borneo is famous for its beautiful nature. It has some of the oldest tropical rainforests in the world. These forests are full of amazing plants and animals. Many rare birds, like the hornbill, live here. The forests also have many trees and flowers that grow nowhere else.

People and Cultures

Borneo is home to many different groups of people. One big group is called the Dayak. They have their own languages and traditions. Some Dayak people live in special houses called longhouses, where many families stay together.

Work and Life

People in Borneo work in many ways. Some grow crops like rubber and cacao. Others work in oil and gas or cut down trees for timber. In cities, people have jobs in shops, schools, and hospitals. Life in Borneo is a mix of old traditions and new ways of living.

Borneo is a special place with rich nature, many cultures, and hardworking people. It is a wonderful part of the world that many love to visit and learn about.
