Brachiosaurus
Brachiosaurus was a very big dinosaur that lived a long, long time ago in North America. It lived during the Late Jurassic period, about 155 to 145 million years ago. This dinosaur had a special name that means “arm lizard” in Greek because its arms were longer than its legs.
Brachiosaurus was one of the largest dinosaurs ever found. It had a long neck, a big chest, and strong legs. Its arms were longer than its legs, which made it look very tall. This dinosaur ate leaves and branches from tall trees using its long neck.
The first Brachiosaurus fossils were found near the Colorado River by a scientist named Elmer S. Riggs in 1903. Since then, more fossils have been found in places like Utah and Wyoming. Even though we have found only a few true Brachiosaurus fossils, scientists have learned a lot about this amazing dinosaur.
Brachiosaurus became very famous when it appeared in the movie Jurassic Park. Many people loved seeing this giant dinosaur on screen, and now it is known all around the world. It is a special part of dinosaur history and continues to fascinate kids and adults alike.
