The Capitoline Triad

The Capitoline Triad was a special group of three gods loved by the people of Rome. These gods were Jupiter, the king of the gods; Juno, the goddess of families; and Minerva, the goddess of wisdom. They were very important to the Romans and had their own big temple.

The temple for these three gods was built on Capitoline Hill, a tall hill in the middle of Rome. This hill was a special place, and the temple showed how much the Romans cared about their gods. Each god had their own room inside the temple.

People in Rome believed these gods watched over them. Jupiter took care of the sky and fairness, Juno protected families, and Minerva helped people learn and create. The Capitoline Triad will always be remembered as a wonderful part of ancient Roman life.
