Columbia University

Columbia University is a big school for learning in New York City. It is one of the oldest schools in the United States, starting all the way back in 1754! People from all over the world come to study here.

The university has many different parts called "schools." Students can study things like science, art, medicine, and even engineering. There are special buildings for each school, and many of them are very old and important.

Columbia University is known for its smart teachers and students. Many famous people have studied or taught here. Some have even won big prizes for their work!

The school has a beautiful campus with big buildings, gardens, and special places to meet. Students enjoy traditions like lighting trees for holidays and putting on fun shows. Columbia University is a place where new ideas and discoveries are made every day.
