Diwali

Diwali is a happy festival of lights celebrated by many people, especially those who follow Hinduism, Jainism, and Sikhism. It is a special time when families come together to remember good times and good stories.

People light beautiful oil lamps called diyas and decorate their homes with colorful rangoli designs. They also enjoy tasty foods and share sweets with friends and family. Diwali usually happens in October or November and lasts for several days.

This festival is important for people all around the world, even those living far from home. It is a time to feel happy, remember loved ones, and show thanks for good things.

Diwali comes from a word called Dipavali, which means "a row of lights". It reminds everyone of the power of light to make things bright and beautiful. People celebrate by lighting many lamps to make their homes glow.
