Frida Kahlo – A Bright Star from Mexico

Frida Kahlo was a wonderful artist from Mexico. She was born on July 6, 1907, in a lovely village called Coyoacán near Mexico City. Her father was from Germany and her mother was from Oaxaca, making her a mix of different cultures.

Frida loved to draw from a very young age. Even when she faced health challenges, she kept creating beautiful paintings. She painted many pictures of herself, her family, and her friends. Her artworks often showed bright colors and mixed real life with fantasy. People love her paintings because they tell stories about Mexico’s nature, culture, and what it means to be a woman.
