Golden Gate Bridge
The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most famous bridges in the world. It is a long, curved bridge that connects San Francisco to Marin County in California. The bridge stretches over a wide, blue stretch of water called the Golden Gate, linking the San Francisco Bay to the Pacific Ocean.
Before the bridge was built, people had to take boats to travel between these places. The bridge makes it much easier and faster to go from one side to the other. It is used by cars, bicycles, and people walking. Many visitors come just to see this amazing bridge.
The Golden Gate Bridge is very tall and strong. Its orange color makes it easy to spot, even on foggy days. It was built many years ago, in 1937, and has been improved many times to stay safe. People all around the world know about this bridge because of how beautiful and important it is.
The bridge has special lights and sounds to help ships and planes see it, especially when the weather is foggy. It is a wonderful symbol of San Francisco and California.
