Greenlandic Inuit
The Greenlandic Inuit are the largest group of people in Greenland. They have their own special culture, history, and language. Greenland is part of the Kingdom of Denmark, so people from Greenland are also citizens of Denmark and the European Union.
Most people in Greenland are Greenlandic Inuit. They come from three main groups: the Kalaallit in west Greenland, the Tunumiit in east Greenland, and the Inughuit in north Greenland. Each group speaks its own language, but many people can also speak Danish.
The Greenlandic Inuit have lived in Greenland for a very long time. They are good at making art from animal skins and special carvings. Their art shows how important nature and spirits are to them.
Greenlandic Inuit enjoy both local foods, like dried fish, and foods from other places. Families are very important, and many people live in close-knit communities.
The Greenlandic Inuit are known for their skills and strong connection to their land and traditions.
