Grapes from a vineyard in Napa Valley, California.

Malbec is a special kind of purple grape that people use to make red wine. The grapes have a deep color and give the wine a strong, rich taste. They are grown in many places around the world.

One of the main places where Malbec grapes are grown is Cahors in France. But you can also find Malbec grapes in Argentina, Chile, and the United States, among other countries.

Malbec grapes need lots of sun and heat to grow well. They ripen in the middle of the season and add a deep color and rich taste to the wine. This makes the wine very interesting to drink.

People have been growing Malbec grapes for a long time. Even when a big frost damaged some of the grapes in France, they were replanted and stayed popular in Cahors. Today, Malbec is enjoyed all over the world for its wonderful flavor.
