Michael Schumacher

Michael Schumacher was a famous racing driver from Germany. He was born on January 3, 1969, in Hürth, which is in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Schumacher started racing when he was very young, just four years old, with a small pedal kart. His father, Rolf, helped him by adding a tiny motorcycle engine to the kart. Soon, Michael began winning races and became very good at racing.

He became one of the greatest drivers in Formula One history. He raced from 1991 to 2012 and won seven Formula One World Drivers' Championship titles, matching another famous driver, Lewis Hamilton. He drove for teams like Jordan, Benetton, and most famously, Ferrari.

Schumacher was known for working very hard and always trying his best. He also helped many people through charities. In December 2013, he had a serious accident while skiing and needed a long time to recover. Although he hasn’t appeared in public since then, people still remember him as one of the greatest racers ever. His skills and dedication continue to inspire many young drivers around the world.
