North Korea
North Korea, also called the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, is a country in East Asia. It is found on the northern part of the Korean Peninsula. It shares borders with China and Russia to the north and South Korea to the south. The biggest city is Pyongyang.
People have lived in this land for thousands of years. After World War II, Korea was split into two parts. North Korea became its own country. Today, it is led by leaders from the Kim family.
North Korea has many tall mountains. Paektu Mountain is the highest. The winters are very cold with snow, and summers are warm and rainy. The country loves music, art, and stories that celebrate its leaders and history.
People in North Korea speak Korean and live in families. Schools are important, and children learn a lot. The country has its own special ways of celebrating and creating art, like paintings and music that tell stories about their nation.
North Korea is interesting because it has kept many of its traditions strong and unique. It is a place where history, nature, and culture come together in special ways.
