The pyramid of Menkaure is one of the three big pyramids at the Giza pyramid complex. It sits on the Giza Plateau near Cairo, Egypt. This pyramid was built as a special resting place for King Menkaure, who ruled long ago.

This pyramid is smaller than the other two big pyramids nearby. It was made from strong stones like limestone and granite. Inside, there are tiny passages and rooms that were meant to hold the king's treasures and important things.
