Sarsina
Sarsina is a small, beautiful town in Italy. It is found in the province of Forlì-Cesena, in the Emilia-Romagna region. The town is nestled among hills and forests, making it a peaceful place to visit.
Long ago, Sarsina was an important place for the Umbri people. Later, Romans celebrated victories here and appreciated the town for its milk and brave soldiers. Today, visitors can see old parts of Roman buildings and learn about the past in local museums.
One of the most special sights in Sarsina is the old Sarsina cathedral, built a very long time ago. Nearby, people can visit the Sanctuary of San Vicinio to honor Saint Vicinius. Walking down Via Cesio Sabino, the main street, you can see houses made of shiny marble.
Sarsina also has friendly links with towns in other countries, such as Grebenstein in Germany, Lezoux in France, and Lopik in the Netherlands. These towns share traditions and celebrate together.
