Scandinavia

Scandinavia is a special part of northern Europe. It includes three countries: Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. These places share many traditions, stories, and even languages.

The land in Scandinavia is very different in many spots. Norway has beautiful, deep valleys called fjords. Sweden and Norway have tall mountains. Denmark is mostly flat with lots of fields. Many people live in the south where the weather is milder.

Long ago, people from Scandinavia were known as Vikings. They were great sailors who traveled far in their special boats called longships. They reached places like Britain, Ireland, and even North America!

Today, the countries in Scandinavia are known for being rich and helpful. They have strong systems to support families and offer good services for everyone. People from all over the world visit to see the beautiful nature, from snowy mountains to calm lakes.
