The Gentle She-Wolf

The She-Wolf is a kind and caring animal from old stories about Rome. She helped two little boys named Romulus and Remus when they needed help. A kind king had left them alone, but the She-Wolf found them and took them to a cozy cave called the Lupercal. There, she gave them warm milk and kept them safe until a nice shepherd named Faustulus found them.

The picture of the She-Wolf with the boys is very famous. You can see it on statues, coins, and even team logos! It reminds people of the sweet story and the beginning of the great city of Rome. Romulus grew up to become the first king of Rome, and together with Remus, he is remembered as a founder of the city.

The She-Wolf is also a symbol of care and protection. People in Italy have loved this story for many years, and it continues to inspire artists and stories today. One of the most famous statues is called the Capitoline Wolf, and it shows how gentle and strong the She-Wolf was.
