Spider-Man

Spider-Man is a very popular superhero in American comic books. He was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko in 1962. His first appearance was in a comic book called Amazing Fantasy #15.

Spider-Man’s secret identity is Peter Benjamin Parker. Peter was raised by his loving Aunt May and Uncle Ben in Queens, New York City. One day, Peter was bitten by a special spider and got amazing powers! He can climb walls, move very fast, and has a special “spider-sense” that warns him of danger.

Peter wears a costume with a spider design and uses web to swing around the city. He learned an important lesson from Uncle Ben: “with great power comes great responsibility”. This means Peter uses his powers to help people and fight crime.

Spider-Man has many friends and has been part of teams like the Avengers and the Fantastic Four. He has appeared in many TV shows, movies, video games, and books. Famous actors like Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland have all played Spider-Man on the big screen.

People love Spider-Man because he is a regular person who faces real problems, just like many of us. He shows that even when things are hard, we can do our best and help others.
