Table Tennis

Table tennis, also called ping-pong, is a fun game played on a small table. It is like outdoor tennis, but instead of a big court, everything happens on a table! Players use little rackets to hit a tiny ball over a net. The goal is to make the ball land on the other side so your friend cannot return it.

People love table tennis because it is easy to set up and can be played anywhere, even inside the house. You do not need much space, and you can play alone or with a partner. It is a great way to have fun and practice quick reactions.

Table tennis became very popular and is now an Olympic sport. Players from all over the world compete in singles and teams. The International Table Tennis Federation makes the rules and organizes big tournaments.

Table tennis started a long time ago in Victorian England. Some people think it began with soldiers in India. They used books as rackets and a golf ball to play. Over time, the game changed, and better equipment was made.

Today, table tennis is enjoyed by people of all ages. It teaches focus, coordination, and is a wonderful way to spend time with friends or family. Whether you are a beginner or a skilled player, there is always something new to learn and enjoy in this exciting sport!
