Yahoo

Yahoo is a fun American website where you can find many useful things. You can search for information with Yahoo Search. You can also read news at Yahoo News and check your emails through Yahoo Mail. There are also places to look up sports scores on Yahoo Sports, and you can see money news on Yahoo Finance.

Yahoo was started by two friends, Jerry Yang and David Filo, in January 1994. They were students at Stanford University when they made a website to help people find other websites. It became very popular and many people visited it when they first got online.

Today, Yahoo is run by a company called Yahoo! Inc.. Even though it is not as big as it once was, Yahoo still gives people many services they use every day, like email and news.
