Monaco first joined the Olympic Games in 1920 and has sent athletes to most Summer Olympic Games since then. They missed some games in the past but have been in every Winter Olympic Games since 1984.

Many athletes from Monaco have competed, but none have won a medal in the Summer or Winter Games up to 2024. Their best result was finishing sixth in two-man bobsleigh at the 2022 Winter Olympics.

The National Olympic Committee for Monaco was set up in 1907 but was recognized later.

Former Bronze medal in 1924 Summer Games

Julien MΓ©dΓ©cin won a bronze medal for designing a special stadium in Monaco at the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris. This medal was for an art competition. The Olympic committee counts it, but many people do not when they talk about sports medals. Because of this, many lists show that Monaco has not won any Olympic medals in sports.
