Adapted from Wikipedia · Adventurer experience
The Rimpfischhorn (4,199 m) is a mountain in the Pennine Alps of Switzerland. It is a tall, beautiful peak in the Alps and has great views.
One special part of the Rimpfischhorn is a smaller peak called Grosser Gendarm. It is 4,107 meters high.
The first people to climb the Rimpfischhorn were Leslie Stephen and Robert Living. They were guided by Melchior Anderegg and Johann Zumtaugwald. They climbed it on September 9, 1859, starting from Fluh Alp and going up through a place called the Rimpfischwänge.
