The Financial District

The Financial District, also called FiDi, is a busy part of Manhattan in New York City. It is right at the southern tip of Manhattan Island. You can find it near the East River and close to the Battery.

This area is very important for money and business. Many big buildings are here, like the New York Stock Exchange and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. People often visit to see famous spots such as Trinity Church and the One World Trade Center.

The streets in FiDi are narrow with tall buildings on each side. Some streets are just for walking. There are also many old and beautiful buildings, like those from the Gilded Age and art deco styles.

The Financial District has many places to explore. You can see historic buildings, visit a museum, or just enjoy the busy city life. It is a fun place to learn about history and see amazing architecture.
