The University of Miami

The University of Miami is a big school where students can learn many things. It is in Coral Gables, Florida, close to the city of Miami. The school started in 1925 and has grown to have many students and teachers.

Students at the University of Miami can choose from over 350 different subjects to study. Some of the special schools include the Miller School of Medicine for learning about health, the law school for studying laws, and the Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric, and Earth Science for learning about the ocean and weather.

One fun thing about the University of Miami is its sports teams, called the Miami Hurricanes. They play many sports, such as football and baseball, and have won big prizes for their teamwork. The teams have a mascot named Sebastian the Ibis, who wears a special uniform and cheers for the players.

The school has a beautiful campus with a big lake in the middle called Lake Osceola. There are also gardens, theaters, and many places for students to meet and learn. The University of Miami is a place where many smart teachers work and do important research to help the world.

Many famous people, like actors and musicians, went to the University of Miami. It is a special place for learning and having fun while growing up.
