Malta is a tiny island country in the Mediterranean Sea. It is situated between Sicily and North Africa. Malta is made up of three main islands: Malta, Gozo, and Comino. It is one of the smallest countries in the world, but it has a very big history and many fun things to see!

People have lived in Malta for thousands of years. You can find some of the oldest buildings in the world there! These old stone temples were made long before the pyramids in Egypt. Malta’s location made it very important for many different cultures. Over time, many groups lived there, including the Phoenicians, Romans, and even Knights Hospitaller. Each group left behind special buildings and stories.
